Operations Supervisor - Car Rental
Key Responsibilities- Ensure effective communication with corporate clients/ Individual clients, prepare / open / Close/rental agreements timely and accurately including RTA upload (Within 3 Hours).
- Supervise timely vehicle delivery/collection to/from the customer in good condition, and Ensure VCR is properly filled out and signed by the customer while delivering/collecting vehicles
- Coordinate with the fleet department to manage the handover of the vehicles
- Supervise a team of car washers, providing clear guidance, briefing, on-the-job training and performance feedback to ensure the rental car's vehicle's cleanliness interior and exterior.
- Efficiently schedule drivers for vehicle deliveries, pick-ups, and transfers to meet customer requests and optimize vehicle utilization.
- Monitor vehicle cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Foster a customer-focused culture among drivers, ensuring a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness when interacting with customers.
- Ensure that drivers adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws, conducting regular safety training sessions.
- Conduct vehicle inspections with drivers to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Assist in managing the rental vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicle availability, and coordinating with the other teams.
- Generate regular reports on driver performance, vehicle status, and operational efficiency. Provide recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Ensure the force collection takes place on the same day as the request from the customers.
- Manage all the delivery agents rental, fleet, and recovery agents.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet or driver management in the automotive or rental industry.
Knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and road networks.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in using fleet and resources management software and tools.
A valid UAE driver's license is a plus.
